On a day out in the New Forest we had a look around a little village and came across an old man and a donkey in a side street. The look of sheer delight on the old man's face as he petted the donkey was a real joy. Don't ever feel you are too old to take pleasure in life and make new friends.
I have just seen your link on Folksy, what a fabulous idea something I would love to do in the future (not quite ready yet as in the process of actually 'learning' to draw) but am now following you so I can watch your sketchbook.
